Cookie notice

This website sets no cookies of its own. We have not added analytics, an advertising or remarketing tag, a tracking pixel or a third-party embed to the site's code, which is why you were not asked to accept anything when you arrived. One third-party script does load, however: the site is served through Cloudflare, which adds its own Web Analytics script to our pages. That is described below.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

This site is served through Cloudflare, which acts as a CDN and proxy in front of our server: every request for a page passes through Cloudflare on its way to and from us. Cloudflare adds its own Web Analytics script to the pages it serves. We did not add it to the site's code — it is inserted as the page passes through Cloudflare.

The script measures page views and basic information about the visit. Cloudflare also processes visitors' IP addresses in order to serve and analyse the site.

Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not use client-side state stored on your device, and does not fingerprint visitors. That is Cloudflare's account of its own product — we have not independently verified how it behaves internally.

The enquiry form

The enquiry form does not use cookies and does not remember you between visits. What you type is sent to us as an email and nothing else — see the privacy notice.

Fonts and hosting

The typefaces this site uses are served from our own servers, with the rest of the page. No font request goes to a third-party font service, so requesting them does not disclose your IP address to anyone but us, Cloudflare and our hosting provider.

Our hosting provider may keep standard server access logs. Those are records on the server, not cookies on your device.

If this changes

The Cloudflare script described above is the only analytics running on this site today. If we add anything else that stores data on your device — embedded video, an advertising tag, or analytics of our own — we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Managing cookies yourself

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings. Nothing on this site depends on a cookie we set, so blocking them will not stop it working.
